First produced by Dr Alex Moulton CBE in the ‘60s, the basic Moulton® concept is to improve ride comfort and efficiency by using small wheels with high-pressure tyres, supported from a rigid frame by carefully engineered rubber suspension units.

At ARCC we offer the Moulton® TSR complete electric bike in a range of configurations so you can find the perfect bike for you. We can also retrofit our ARCC Intelligent Drive Pod to your existing Moulton® TSR. 

The ARCC Intelligent Drive Pod combines Bluetooth-controlled variable power levels with automatic hill/gradient compensation, allowing commuting cyclists to choose the amount of effort both they and the motor provides; automatically compensates for hills and gradients; and provides ‘launch control’, for safety when moving away from lights and crossings in heavy traffic. 

The pod uses an industry standard 4.0 Ah, 6.0 Ah or 9.0 Ah Bosch battery, which are readily available from stores and online and have a range of up to 75km dependant on the battery used. When the battery is removed, the eBike reverts to its standard configuration and can be used as a regular bike.

The Moulton® bicycle equipped with the ARCC Intelligent Drive Pod is ideal for commuting or on-road riding. The bike delivers a well-tuned, responsive ride, making it one of the very few successful alternatives to the standard non-electric space frame bicycle.

We offer a 5-year frame warranty on all new Moulton® TSR bikes as well as a 5-year warranty on the ARCC Intelligent Drive Pod.
